Today David and I went to Hemlock Valley Resort ~(a ski and snowboarding mountain), which is one hour away from our house. There was so much snow on the mountain! I pray that I can have a white Christmas this year.
Then on our way home we stoped at a little creek beside the road and I saw so many salmon fish! They are so big, maybe as long as 5ft. There was also allot of dead ones on the side too. Salmon swim to the ocean when they are young and then remember how to come back to this exact creek four years later to lay eggs, mate and then die.
Every four years, the salmon have a big "Home Comming Gathering:P", you can see all the salmon jumping and fighting the river to go back to their birth area. The river is not very deep, so they are all crowded.
Next year, 2006, will be the big "Home Comming " for the salmon tp return to British Columbia.
